Enrolment Criteria
Where demand for enrolment places exceed capacity, the priority order for enrolment is as follows:
- Children of families who have siblings currently enrolled at St Pius X
- Catholic children who are members of the Parish Community
- Catholic children of families living outside the Parish
- Children whose family's faith and commitment support the Catholic ethos and who express a willingness to support the school and its policies.
- Further applications will be considered on their merits
Children with Additional Needs
Applications for enrolment of children with additional needs will follow procedures outlined in the Brisbane Catholic Education “Policy on Enrolment, Application and Support Procedures for students requiring educational adjustments". Children with additional needs will be considered in accordance with the above policy and the priority of enrolment as stated above. A decision on the application for enrolment will be made in accordance with the Policy of Enrolment, Application and Support Procedures for students requiring educational adjustments and the capacity of the community's ability to provide them with a quality Catholic education.
