At St Pius X, learning extends beyond the classroom through a variety of camps, excursions and incursions that enrich and deepen students’ understanding of the world around them. These experiences provide authentic opportunities for students to apply their learning, explore new interests and develop important life skills such as teamwork, independence, resilience and problem-solving. Whether participating in educational visits, welcoming expert presenters into the school, or attending camp experiences, students are encouraged to challenge themselves, build confidence and create lasting memories while making meaningful connections to their learning.
Camps consist of:
Year 5 and Year 6 Combined Camp - Leadership Skills in both Bush and Beach Settings – 3 days/ 2 nights away.
Year 4 – Day Camp - One day camp, early start and late finish but home for dinner.
